I’m not! And the first and best advice I can give anyone is talk to people who know the parks well. That includes rangers, concessionaires, scientists, hobbyist and other visitors.
But, if there’s one place I’ve spent a lot of time, researching, writing about, living in, exploring, and beyond, it’s National Parks. … :-P
So, these are just suggestions, hints, lists of my favorite activities, facts, and figures and links to other places where you can learn more.

No! I will definitely miss some things, probably some of the best things. Also park rules, guidelines, trails, and tours change all the time. So, the first two I won’t even try to keep up with. (Keep your hands to yourselves, stay safe, bring lots of water, and don’t take anything, artifact, animal, or mineral from the park. - plant either, although there’s some exceptions for fruit. And don’t leave anything -litter- in a national park either.)
But if a favorite trail or tour has changed, or if you think I missed a better one, feel free to let me know.

That’s because you are awesome. You’ve found this page early days. And I am still working on it.
Thanks, and check back soon!
