Big thing are happening! (Soon)
Some weeks I write long articles about spooky topics that include a lot of elaboration. Other weeks I try and add to my 110 park facts. Some weeks I combine the two. And then some weeks, like this one, I simply want to call attention to 3 upcoming events for Alienjest Press, The Junior Rangers Investigative Club Novels, and author Nathan W. Landrum!
Announcement #1 is super cool, and also the most time sensative!
I (author, Nathan W. Landrum, will be at the 2026 Louisville Book Festival, on October 24th!
The event runs from 10am-5pm, will feature more than 150 authors, talks from some of them, surprise guests, and more. It’s at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, and I hope to see you there!
(I’ll be bringing my books with me. Signing them for anyone who purchases there, and also will have a cool variety of things anyone interested in parks, pirates, or books can pick up for free! (more bookmarks, a new- awesome- sticker, and a …secret surprise!*)

Announcement #2
The release of Treasure in the Swamp is just around the corner, and one of the final steps is final illustrations. Including a cover illustration. (all of my illustrations are done by Bailey Vidler, and they are awesome!)

And finally, Announcement #3
This one is more of an internal announcement, but I’m hoping it will result in big things for the Junior Rangers Investigative Club Novels in the future.
This year, I will be attending the Ranger Rendezvous with my dad. It’s a yearly get together for National Park Rangers, and I’ve wanted to go with him for a long time. It’s in Tucson, AZ. So, expect a lot of Arizona related photography in the near future. . . and other Arizona related material as well.
(the 5th book is in the works, but I don’t want to say any more about it until Book #5 is out!)
